Refund Policy
1. How Refunds Work
This Refund Policy explains when you can get your money back for purchases on the websites of Traverse d.o.o. Beograd-Stari Grad (“Traverse,” “we” or “us”), including DARCKED (darcked.com) and VARONIL (varonilmagazine.com).
Effective date: October 10, 2026 · Last updated: October 10, 2026
1.1 Paddle processes every refund. All purchases on our websites are made from Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle takes your payment and issues every refund, to the payment method you used. Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, available at paddle.com/legal-buyers, apply to every purchase; if this policy and Paddle’s terms conflict, Paddle’s terms apply.
1.2 Part of our Terms. This policy summarizes the refund rules in our Terms and Conditions, mainly Sections 13, 21 and 23. Nothing in it limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
2. Our Standard Rule
Our products are digital and are supplied as soon as Paddle confirms your payment. For that reason, a purchase is not refundable once you have:
- downloaded a digital issue or e-book; or
- accessed the paid content of a Site with a one-time access pass or a subscription.
This rule does not affect your right of withdrawal (Section 3), your rights for defective products (Section 4) or the other cases in Section 5.
3. Your Right of Withdrawal
3.1 Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you the right to withdraw from an online purchase within a set period without giving a reason. For example, the period is 14 days in Serbia, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
3.2 Digital issues and e-books. Your right of withdrawal ends once the download begins, if before buying you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal. Without that consent and acknowledgment, you keep the right of withdrawal for the full period, even after downloading.
3.3 Paid access to a Site. Where the law that applies to you treats paid access as digital content, the rule in Section 3.2 applies. Where it treats paid access as a service, you may withdraw within the withdrawal period even after you have started using it; if you asked for access to begin immediately, the refund is reduced by a proportionate amount for the access you used.
3.4 Subscriptions. The right of withdrawal applies to your first subscription payment, not to automatic renewals.
3.5 How to withdraw. Use the refund request option at paddle.net, or tell us at office@traverse.limited and we will pass your request to Paddle. After a withdrawal you may no longer use the product, so delete any copies you downloaded.
4. Defective Products
4.1 Contact us if a file you bought is corrupted or incomplete, cannot be opened with standard software for its stated format, or does not match its description. The same applies if paid access to a Site does not work as described.
4.2 We fix the problem free of charge within a reasonable time, for example by sending a working file or a new download link, or by restoring your access.
4.3 If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund, which Paddle processes. These rights apply for the period set by the law that applies to you and cannot be excluded by contract.
4.4 We confirm receipt of your complaint without delay, reply within 8 days, and resolve accepted complaints within 15 days of receiving them (Section 25 of our Terms and Conditions).
5. Other Cases Where You Receive a Refund
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| A renewal is charged after you emailed us to cancel, but before we processed your cancellation | Full refund of that renewal |
| We close a Site, stop offering paid access, or end your subscription for a reason other than your breach of our Terms | Refund for the period you paid for but cannot use |
| We close your account for a reason other than your breach of our Terms | Refund for the period you paid for but cannot use |
| During a paid period, a change affects your access to or use of a product in a way that is more than minor, and you cancel within 30 days of our notice or of the change, whichever is later | Refund for the unused part of the paid period |
| We transfer a Site to another company and you cancel | Refund for the period you paid for but have not used |
| An event beyond our control affects your product for more than 30 days and you cancel | Refund for the period you paid for but have not used |
| We cancel an order because of an obvious pricing error | Full refund of any amount charged |
| Paddle grants a refund under its own Refund Policy, for example where your local law gives additional cancellation rights | As Paddle’s Refund Policy provides |
6. Canceling a Subscription
6.1 Canceling stops future payments; it is not a refund. You can cancel at any time:
- through the link in the subscription confirmation email or receipt from Paddle;
- at paddle.net; or
- by emailing us at office@traverse.limited from the address linked to your account.
6.2 Cancellations made through Paddle take effect immediately. If you cancel by email, we arrange the cancellation with Paddle no later than the next business day and confirm it to you.
6.3 After you cancel, your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. The payment for that period is not refunded, except in the cases described in Sections 3 to 5.
6.4 To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.
7. How to Request a Refund
7.1 Request a refund at paddle.net using the refund request option, or email us at office@traverse.limited and we will pass your request to Paddle. Please include the email address used for the purchase, your Paddle order number and the reason for your request.
7.2 Paddle issues refunds to the payment method you used, within the period the law requires. How quickly the money reaches your account also depends on your bank or card provider.
7.3 Once a purchase is refunded, your right to use the product ends. Stop using it and delete any copies you downloaded; paid access ends.
7.4 Paddle may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud or abuse of the refund process, except where the law requires the refund.
7.5 Please contact us or Paddle before disputing a charge with your bank. While a dispute is open, we may suspend access to the product concerned.
