These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of every website operated by Traverse d.o.o. Beograd-Stari Grad and every purchase you make on those websites.
Effective date: October 6, 2026 · Last updated: October 6, 2026
Please read Section 13 (refunds and your right of withdrawal) and Part D (automatic renewal and cancellation of subscriptions) with particular care. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

- traverse. — traverse.limited
- VINCULO HOUSE — vinculohouse.com

A new website we launch is covered by these Terms from the day it links to them.
How these Terms are organized
- Part A (General Terms) applies to everyone who uses a Site.
- Part B (Buying from Us) applies to every purchase.
- Part C covers digital magazine issues, Part D paid access to a Site, and Part E e-books.
- Part F explains how to complain and resolve disputes; Part G covers liability, governing law and general provisions.
If a product-specific Part differs from Part A or Part B, the product-specific Part applies to that product.
Your agreement to these Terms
By using a Site, creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
Every purchase is made through Paddle, our merchant of record, and Paddle’s terms also apply to it (Section 10). Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies, and our Refund Policy summarizes the refund rules in Section 13.
Part A — General Terms
1. Eligibility and Age
1.1 You must be at least 16 years old to use the Sites or create an account.
1.2 If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may buy products only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. By giving that permission, your parent or guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for the purchase.
1.3 If a Site, publication or item of content is marked as intended for adults (18+), you may access it only if you are at least 18.
1.4 The Sites and our products are for personal, non-commercial use. For any business use, such as institutional access, licensing or syndication, contact us first at office@traverse.limited.
2. Your Account
2.1 Some content and features require an account. Each Site has its own accounts: an account on one Site gives no access to any other Site, and each Site’s products are bought separately.
2.2 Give accurate information when you register and keep your email address current. We use it to send you messages about your account, your purchases, your subscription and changes to these Terms.
2.3 Your account is personal. Do not share your login details, let anyone else use your account, or create an account for someone else. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from a security failure on our side. Tell us at once at office@traverse.limited if you suspect unauthorized use.
2.4 You may close your account at any time by emailing us from the address registered to it. Closing your account ends access to everything available through it. It does not cancel a subscription by itself, so cancel any subscription first (Section 21).
3. Our Content and Intellectual Property
3.1 The Sites and everything published on or through them belong to Traverse or are licensed to us by our authors and other rights holders. This includes articles, essays, magazines, e-books, images, illustrations, layouts, logos, our proprietary typefaces and software (together, “Content”). Content is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
3.2 DARCKED, VARONIL, TRAVERSE, VINCULO HOUSE, DUSANILIC MEDIA and ELITEMANNEQUIN are trademarks of Traverse registered in the Republic of Serbia. You may not use our trademarks or logos without our prior written permission.
3.3 We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access and view the Content available to you, on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. This license lasts as long as you are entitled to the Content and comply with these Terms. Products you buy carry the additional rights described in Parts C, D and E. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
3.4 Unless the law expressly allows it or we agree in writing, you may not:
- copy, republish, distribute, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or publicly display or perform any Content;
- share, forward, upload or otherwise make Content available to anyone else, including through file-sharing services, social media, messaging apps or shared drives;
- remove, alter or obscure any watermark, copyright notice or author credit;
- bypass, disable or interfere with any paywall, access control or technical protection measure;
- use robots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated means to access, copy or collect Content;
- create derivative works or compilations from Content; or
- use Content for text and data mining, or to develop, train, fine-tune or test any artificial intelligence system.
3.5 We expressly reserve the use of the Content for text and data mining, including for developing or training artificial intelligence systems. This reservation applies wherever the law allows rights holders to reserve those uses.
3.6 Nothing in these Terms restricts uses that copyright law permits without our consent, such as brief quotation with attribution for criticism or review.
3.7 Our publications include work by staff and by external contributing authors. Views expressed in the Content are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Traverse.
3.8 If you believe Content infringes your copyright or other rights, write to us at Nikole Spasića 3/1, 11000 Belgrade – Stari Grad, Republic of Serbia, or email office@traverse.limited. Identify the work, the Content concerned and how to reach you. We review every notice promptly.
4. Images Created with Artificial Intelligence
4.1 Some images on the Sites and in our publications are created with artificial intelligence tools. We label them as AI-generated.
4.2 These images are illustrations. They do not record real events and are not photographs. If an AI-generated image depicts or resembles a real person, that does not mean the person took part in, endorsed or is connected with Traverse, a Site or the Content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use a Site unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm others;
- access or attempt to access any part of a Site, or any account, without authorization;
- interfere with the security or operation of a Site, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on our systems;
- pay with a payment method you are not authorized to use, or misuse refunds or chargebacks;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, age or affiliation;
- resell, rent out or offer access to Content or accounts; or
- help anyone else do any of the above.
6. Third-Party Platforms and Services
6.1 The Sites link to our profiles on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and TikTok, and may display content from them. Those platforms are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
6.2 Payments are handled by Paddle (Part B). Other providers help us host and run the Sites, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Newsletters and Personal Data
7.1 We send newsletters and other marketing emails only to people who have subscribed to them. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in each newsletter or by writing to office@traverse.limited. Subscribing is never a condition of buying.
7.2 Whether or not you subscribe, you will receive messages needed to provide the service, such as account and security emails from us and payment receipts from Paddle.
7.3 Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies.
8. Changes to the Sites and Content
8.1 We may update, correct, reorganize or remove Content and features, and we decide independently what we publish.
8.2 If, during a period you have paid for, a change affects your access to or use of a product you bought in a way that is more than minor, we will tell you by email in advance. You may then cancel free of charge within 30 days of our notice or of the change, whichever is later, and receive a refund of the price for the unused part of the paid period.
9. Changes to These Terms
9.1 We may change these Terms to reflect changes in the law, in our Sites or products, or in how we provide them, or to make them clearer. The current version and its effective date are always available on each Site.
9.2 If a change materially affects account holders or subscribers, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. For an active subscription, the change applies from your first renewal after that date. If you do not agree, you may cancel before then.
9.3 A change does not affect a purchase completed before it. The rights you acquired, such as your license to a downloaded issue or e-book, continue under the Terms in force when you bought.
Part B — Buying from Us
10. Paddle Is Our Merchant of Record
10.1 Paddle is our authorized reseller and merchant of record for every purchase on the Sites. When you buy a product, you buy it from Paddle, and your contract of sale is with the Paddle company that Paddle’s Buyer Terms name for your location.
10.2 Paddle runs the checkout and handles payment, billing, receipts and invoices, sales taxes and refunds. Paddle provides buyer support for payments and refunds at paddle.net. The purchase is governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, available at paddle.com/legal-buyers.
10.3 These Terms set out the rights you receive in the products we supply; they are the supplier’s license terms referred to in Paddle’s Buyer Terms. They also govern your use of the Sites and the Content. If these Terms and Paddle’s terms conflict on payment, billing, taxes or refunds, Paddle’s terms apply.
10.4 Paddle may decline or cancel a transaction, for example if it cannot obtain payment authorization or suspects fraud.
11. Prices and Taxes
11.1 Prices are shown on the Site and in the Paddle checkout, in the currency displayed. Before you pay, the checkout shows the total amount, including any sales tax or VAT that Paddle must collect for your location.
11.2 For a subscription, the checkout also shows the price per billing period and the length of the period.
11.3 If a price on a Site is obviously wrong because of an error, we or Paddle may cancel the order, and any amount charged will be refunded.
12. Completing a Purchase and Delivery
12.1 Your purchase is complete when Paddle accepts your order and confirms your payment. Paddle then emails you a receipt.
12.2 We supply your product immediately after Paddle confirms payment. Digital issues and e-books become available in your account and through a download link. Paid access to a Site is activated on your account.
12.3 If access or a download is not available shortly after a confirmed payment, contact us at office@traverse.limited and we will resolve it.
12.4 To use our products you need an internet connection and a current web browser. For downloads you also need a device and software that can open the file format stated on the product page.
13. Refunds and Your Right of Withdrawal
13.1 Our products are digital and supplied immediately. For that reason, a purchase is not refundable once you have downloaded a digital issue or e-book, or once you have accessed the paid content of a Site. Sections 13.2 to 13.5 set out rights that apply regardless of this rule.
13.2 Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you the right to withdraw from an online purchase within a set period. For example, the period is 14 days in Serbia, the European Union and the United Kingdom. Where such a right applies:
- Digital issues and e-books. Your right of withdrawal ends once the download begins, if you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal, as the law that applies to you requires.
- Paid access to a Site. Where the law that applies to you treats paid access as digital content, the same rule applies. Where it treats paid access as a service, you may still withdraw within the withdrawal period; if you asked for access to start immediately, you may then have to pay a proportionate amount for the access provided before you withdrew.
- Subscriptions. The right of withdrawal applies to your first subscription purchase, not to automatic renewals.
13.3 To withdraw, use the refund request option at paddle.net, or contact us and we will pass your request to Paddle. Paddle refunds you to your original payment method within the period the law requires.
13.4 If a file you bought is corrupted or incomplete, cannot be opened with standard software for its stated format, or does not match its description, contact us. The same applies if paid access to a Site does not work as described. We will fix the problem free of charge within a reasonable time, for example by providing a working file or a new download link, or by restoring your access. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund, which Paddle processes. These rights last for the period set by the law that applies to you and cannot be excluded by contract.
13.5 Paddle may also grant refunds under its own Refund Policy, including where your local law gives you additional cancellation rights.
13.6 Once a purchase is refunded, your right to use the product ends. Stop using it and delete any copies you downloaded; paid access ends.
13.7 Paddle may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud or abuse of the refund process, except where the law requires the refund. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us or Paddle, we may suspend access to the product concerned while the dispute is open.
Part C — Digital Magazine Issues
14. Your License to a Digital Issue
14.1 When you buy a digital issue of one of our magazines (a “Digital Issue”), you receive a license to download one copy of it, in the file format stated on the product page, and to use it as this Part allows.
14.2 Your license to a Digital Issue you have downloaded does not expire, as long as you comply with these Terms.
15. One Download per Purchase
15.1 Each purchase entitles you to download the Digital Issue once. Save the file when you download it; you may keep it on devices you own or control.
15.2 We do not provide further downloads, except where a download fails or the file is defective. In that case we provide a new download link free of charge (Section 13.4).
16. What You May and May Not Do
16.1 You may read the Digital Issue on devices you own or control, and print it, in whole or in part, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
16.2 You may not share, forward, upload, sell, lend or otherwise make the file or any printout available to anyone else, or use it for any commercial or public purpose.
17. Watermarks
17.1 Every Digital Issue file carries a watermark. You must not remove, alter, crop or obscure it, in the file or in any printout.
17.2 If you breach this Part, we may end your license to the Digital Issue concerned (Section 30). You must then delete every copy of it.
Part D — Paid Access to a Site
18. Access Passes and Subscriptions
18.1 Some Sites sell paid access to their content (“Paid Access”) in two forms:
- One-time Access Pass: a single payment for access during the period stated at purchase. It starts when Paddle confirms payment, does not renew, and ends automatically, with no further charge, at the end of that period.
- Subscription: access for a recurring billing period, such as a month or a year, that renews automatically until you cancel.
18.2 Prices depend on the access period you choose and are shown on the Site and in the checkout.
18.3 Paid Access covers the paid content of the Site where you bought it. It does not include other Sites or products sold separately, such as Digital Issues or E-books, unless the offer says so.
18.4 Paid Access is for one person. You may use it on your own devices, but you may not share your login details or let others use your account (Section 2.3).
19. Automatic Renewal
19.1 A Subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for a period of the same length. At each renewal, Paddle charges your payment method on file the Subscription price then in effect, plus any applicable taxes. This continues until you cancel.
19.2 You can cancel at any time before a renewal to stop the next charge (Section 21).
20. Price Changes
20.1 We may change the prices of Paid Access. New prices are published on the Site and apply to new purchases from the date of publication.
20.2 If you have an active Subscription, we will also email you about a price change at least 30 days before it applies to you. The new price applies from your first renewal after those 30 days. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged it.
20.3 A price change never affects a One-time Access Pass you have already bought.
21. Canceling a Subscription
21.1 You can cancel your Subscription at any time:
- through the link in the subscription confirmation email or receipt from Paddle;
- at paddle.net; or
- by emailing us at office@traverse.limited from the address linked to your account.
21.2 Cancellations made through Paddle take effect immediately. If you cancel by email, we arrange the cancellation with Paddle no later than the next business day and confirm it to you. If a renewal is charged after you emailed us but before we processed your cancellation, we will arrange a full refund of that renewal.
21.3 After you cancel, no further payments are taken. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then ends. The payment for that period is not refunded, except as provided in Section 13 or required by law.
21.4 Canceling a Subscription does not close your account (Section 2.4).
22. Failed Payments
If Paddle cannot collect a renewal payment, it may retry the charge and ask you to update your payment details. We may suspend Paid Access until the payment succeeds. If the payment is not made, the Subscription ends.
23. If We End Paid Access
If we close a Site, stop offering Paid Access, or end your Subscription for a reason other than your breach of these Terms, we will email you at least 30 days in advance. You will receive a refund of the price for any period you have paid for but cannot use.
Part E — E-books
24. E-books
24.1 Some Sites sell e-books written by our authors (“E-books”). When you buy an E-book, you receive a license to download one copy of it, in the file format stated on the product page, for your own personal, non-commercial reading.
24.2 E-books are delivered and protected in the same way as Digital Issues. Sections 14.2 (duration of the license), 15 (one download per purchase), 16 (what you may and may not do) and 17 (watermarks) apply to E-books as if they referred to E-books.
Part F — Complaints and Disputes
25. Contacting Us and Making a Complaint
25.1 If you have a problem with a Site, your account, a product or these Terms, contact us:
- Email: office@traverse.limited
- Phone: +381 63 289 480
- Post: Traverse d.o.o. Beograd-Stari Grad, Nikole Spasića 3/1, 11000 Belgrade – Stari Grad, Republic of Serbia
Please include the Site concerned, the email address of your account, your Paddle order number if you have one, and a description of the problem.
25.2 When you submit a complaint, we confirm receipt without delay and give you a reference number. We reply in writing within 8 days of receiving it, saying whether we accept the complaint and, if we do, how and by when we will resolve it. We resolve accepted complaints within 15 days of receipt, and we keep a record of complaints as the law requires.
25.3 If we reject your complaint, we explain why and tell you about the out-of-court dispute resolution options available to you (Section 26).
25.4 Questions about payments, receipts or refunds can also go directly to Paddle at paddle.net.
26. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
26.1 If you are a consumer, you may take a dispute with us to out-of-court resolution. Consumers in Serbia may use a body on the list of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution bodies kept by the Serbian ministry responsible for consumer protection. Consumers elsewhere may use the bodies available under their local law.
26.2 Out-of-court resolution does not affect your right to go to court.
Part G — Liability, Law and General Terms
27. Content Is Not Professional Advice
The Content reflects editorial work and the views of its authors. It is published for information, culture and entertainment, and it is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. We take care that Content is accurate when published, but it may not be complete or current.
28. Availability of the Sites
We work to keep the Sites available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend a Site temporarily for maintenance, for security or for reasons beyond our control. If an interruption affects Paid Access you have paid for in a way that is more than minor, Section 13.4 applies.
29. Our Liability to You
29.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for your statutory rights as a consumer, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
29.2 If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable. Our products are for personal use, so we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
29.3 If you use a Site or buy a product for a business purpose, our total liability to you under these Terms is limited, to the extent the law allows, to the amount you paid for the product concerned in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable to business users for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data.
30. Suspension and Termination
30.1 We may suspend or close your account, or end your license to Content, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. Examples include sharing your account, distributing our Content, bypassing a paywall or committing payment fraud. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to remedy the breach.
30.2 If we close your account because of your breach, you lose access to the paid content linked to it. You are not entitled to a refund for the remaining paid period, except where the law requires one.
30.3 If we close your account for any other reason, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund any period you have paid for but cannot use.
30.4 Sections 3, 13, 25, 26, 29, 31 and 33 continue to apply after your account is closed or these Terms end.
31. Governing Law and Courts
31.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia.
31.2 If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside. You may bring proceedings against us in the courts of the place where you live or in the competent court in Belgrade, Serbia. We will bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the place where you live.
31.3 If you use the Sites for a business purpose, the competent court in Belgrade, Serbia, has exclusive jurisdiction.
32. Language
These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails in case of conflict, unless the law that applies to you requires otherwise.
33. General Provisions
33.1 These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Sites and the Content. Paddle’s terms govern the purchase transaction (Section 10).
33.2 If a court finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
33.3 If we delay enforcing any part of these Terms, we do not waive our right to enforce it later.
33.4 You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company that takes over a Site or our business, provided your rights are not reduced. We will tell you about such a transfer, and if you do not agree, you may cancel and receive a refund for any period you have paid for but not used.
33.5 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If such an event affects a product you have paid for, we will tell you and do what we reasonably can to limit its effect. If it lasts more than 30 days, you may cancel and receive a refund for any period you have paid for but not used.
33.6 We send notices to the email address linked to your account or, for general changes, publish them on the Sites. You can send notices to us at office@traverse.limited or by post to our address.
